Lynette Peters – patterns in quilting and embroidery

Lynette’s love of anything with needle and thread began in her early childhood. She takes every opportunity to sew. She began quilting in 1979; picking up the skill of paper-piercing she began with a hexagon quilt, cutting all her own papers. Her training became with Deborah Brearly in 1988 and she became a qualified teacher in Melbourne in 1990s. Through her teaching, she began designing patterns for her classes leading to her own business and published designs. She has published a number of quilt patterns over the last through years through publications such as “Delightful Country Threads”. A craft all-rounder, she has also worked professionally as a knitter, as well as in patchwork shops, both behind the counter and as a teacher. Lynette is as passionate about teaching as she is about sewing. “I love enabling people to create something and see the joy they get from making something uniquely their own”.

We will uploading a number of her patterns over the next couple of months for purchase and use.

Lynette is the author of The Engaging Musician: A Manual for Performance.
